I don't know if many of you are with Internode, but this is really cool.

If you are with Internode, they provide a nice network tunnel right to LA, great for playing MMOs on American servers.
I've gone (in Aion) from having about 450ms with ping spikes, to about 225ms average. This is combined with a Low Latency ADSL2+ profile. Game feels so much more responsive, and animations blend so much better in combat.

Similar to Battleping, Smoothping, High Ping Buster, other commercial VPNs, except free for Internode users.
Different from Leatrix

So if anyone would like to use this gateway, here's a tutorial on how to get it running.

*Note* A tunnel may not help much with WoW, since patch 4.1 does it's own thing to optimise network routing. Or at least that's what I've read (I don't play WoW). But it may be worth checking.

Programs needed:
Proxifier - http://www.proxifier.com/download.htm - 31 day trial (full ver. requires serial)
wowgw + Putty - Forum Source, Direct Link

Setting up Putty
1 - Extract wowgw-r2.zip to a nice place (not temporary)
Feel free to delete the freecap folder, ReadMe.txt and run.bat, we won't be using them.

2 - Go into the Putty folder, double click putty.exe to load up the program.

3 - Under Saved Sessions, select wowgw and click Load.

4 - In the box on the left, click on SSH.
Under the encryption options, select Blowfish and click the Up button to make Blowfish the top one on the list.

5 - In the left box click on Session. Select wowgw, and click Save.

6 - Click Cancel to close Putty.

7 - Right click Putty.exe and Send to Desktop (create a shortcut).
Right click the Shortcut and select properties.
In the Target field, after putty.exe add -load wowgw (there is a SPACE before -load)
Then click Apply and OK.

Setting up Proxifier
0 - Install Proxifier (if you haven't already)
Open it.
Either use the 31 day trial or get a serial for it (not hard)

1 - In Proxifier, go to Profile > Proxy Servers...
Click Add.
In the pop up screen, set Address to: 127.0.0.1 Port: 1080
Set protocol to SOCKS version 5. Authentication should not be enabled. Click OK.
Click OK.

2 - Click Profile > Proxification Rules...
Click Add. Set Name to the name of your game.
Click Browse under applications, and find the main exe or bin of your game (set filter to All Files for non-exes)
Target Hosts and Target Ports can be left an Any.
Set Action to Proxy SOCKS5 127.0.0.1
Click OK.

3 - You may remove any unnecessary Rules by selecting them and clicking Remove.
If your regular programs (such as browser) can't access the internet, change the applicable Rule Action to Direct.
You can also use check boxes to enable or disable rules without changing or removing them.
Make sure your Game Rule is ticked and the action is set to your 127.0.0.1 proxy.
Click OK.

Done! To run your game through the proxy, start Putty via your shortcut, and with Proxifier running (it will exit to system tray), your game's exe or bin will run through the Internode tunnel.

To run your game as normal without the proxy, simply untick the Rule you made for it in Proxifier.
